Quizzes 1: Configuring a Moodle Quiz:
This screencast will show you how to add and configure a quiz. Moodle's quiz functionality offers a great way for your students to check their learning progress. Quizzes can be created in a variety of formats from simple multiple-choice or true/false tests to calculated formulas or more more complex calculated multiple-choice and even essays. Quizzes may also contain a mix of question types. All Moodle quizzes (except Essays) are marked automatically providing instant feedback to students.
Some ideas for ways in which quizzes can be used:
- As in-course tests
- As mini tests for reading assignments or at the end of a topic
- As exam practice using questions from past exams
- To deliver immediate feedback about performance
- For self-assessment
