The BaleHaus is complete!
Posted by Katharine Beadle in BaleHaus build September 25th, 2009The BaleHaus is very much finished and looking rather striking against the blue skies we’ve been having over the last few days. Over the next year the house will be extensively monitored and various tests carried out. If you’d like to visit the house then please contact myself or ModCell and we’d be happy to show you around. I hope you’ve enjoyed the blog over the last few months as well as the webcam and the huge amount of photos on the ModCell website. The results from the research will be disseminated over the next year so I’m sure some of it will reach you. Thanks for reading!

Hi Katherine ;
I have really enjoyed your updates on the build and often kept the live image on my machine so I could check on progress. I would love to come and see the inside of the house and ask some questions. Is there an early opportunity to do this ? I teach geography here at UWE and am very interested in exploring some “off grid” house possibilities as a demonstration of my own committment to a lower carbon lifestyle.
I would really appreciate a visit if this is possible.
The links to Modcell and the collective photographic images are beautiful and inspirational.
thank you for delivering regular updates on progress
I really enjoyed seeing it all come to life
good wishes

Hi Katharine
I am supplying the U o B with lettering to go onto existing fingerposts pointing to the BaleHaus
Can you please confirm that BaleHaus is correct spelling as we are hoping to fit lettering on Wednesday
