The Classroom Technologies initiative will combine a number of current strands and pilot projects into a single, overarching entity.

This will include technologies such as the TurningPoint-based Audience Response System (ARS) and the lecture capture solution, Panopto. A full list of technologies can be found within the Technologies section of this website.

During the 2010/2011 academic year, the project will aim to:

  • Evaluate the effective use of classroom technologies to enhance learning and teaching at the University of Bath
  • Foster the emergence of a community of practice around the use of classroom technologies
  • Capture and disseminate good practice in the use of classroom technologies at the University of Bath
  • Feed into discussions around the technologies installed in General Teaching Areas (GTAs)
