Undergraduate Admissions Update^

Thank you for your applications so far, we are processing decisions as soon as possible with the aim to have updated the status for all ‘on-time’ applicants on UCAS Track by the 31st March 2019.

As you may be aware, some of our courses are extremely popular and therefore, in order to apply equity, some applicants are still pending a decision, our aim is to have advised our decisions by the end of March.

We are currently in a dialogue with some students and therefore, should you be chasing a decision, please check to ensure that there is not an ongoing communication. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience in this regard.

We are still open for applications for the majority of courses here at Bath, so please encourage your students to still apply.

Currently the only courses that are now closed are: Social Work and FD Sports Performance

For those student who have applied post the 15th January, we may not begin reviewing until the beginning of April, we will of course, process decisions as quickly as possible after that date.

For those who have already been made an offer, please ensure that the Bath offer letter is read in detail as there is important information located within it, especially regarding our English requirements and encourage an upload of any pre-existing qualification certificates for our records.

Should you have any questions or require any further information regarding undergraduate admissions, please do not hesitate to contact us via email on either email address:

Next month will see the arrival of students studying on our Pre-sessional B course, who we look forward to welcoming to Bath.

Applications are still open for students wishing to study on Pre-sessional B, which runs from 15 April - 21 June. This course is open to all students with an IELTS score of 5.0, not just University of Bath offer holders. Students can apply here.

For your students who may be considering a summer pre-sessional programme, we offer two entry points – 8 July 2019 and 8 August 2019.

These courses offer students the opportunity to:

  • Experience the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath and the wonderful facilities, attractions and multi-cultural events it has to offer
  • Explore the UK more widely through our Social and Cultural programme
  • Continue to develop their English language communication and study skills with a selection of year-round courses

You can find out more about all of our courses and the entry requirements here.

Your students may be eligible for a combined offer, this means they would only require one Tier 4 Visa and pay one fee.

To apply for a combined offer you will need to contact the Postgraduate Taught Admissions Team, or the School of Management if you are going to study for an MBA or an MSc course. MSc Course listings can be found here.
