There seemed nothing to disagree with or take exception to in this PP Broadcast which is an odd thing to say, given that much of what you hear in the usual PPBs  is either tendentious or "consciously dishonest" as Orwell has it in Politics and the English Language, from which the following comes:

"Political language – and with variations this is true of all political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchists – is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind"

How odd, then, to have this reaction.  Treading that fine line between credulousness and cynicism has just got harder.
