Have you been quoted by Donald Trump?

I ask, not because Trump has done this to me – and it seems unlikely he ever would, unless I start writing about Mexicans – but because an academic equivalent has – that is, someone I usually put in the same sort of box as DT, has referred to my work in a paper.

I had one of those nice messages from Google Scholar the other day "¡Scholar Alert! ..." saying that an output of mine had been cited by the individual in question.  What to do – apart from write a blog post, that is?

Well, the most important thing to do is to remember the wisdom of Mae West who said it was always better to be looked over than over-looked.  The citation is mine, saith the Lord.
