Xerte is an authoring tool that is freely available and free to use. It produces Flash-based output which can stand alone or be embedded within Moodle.

The version of Xerte that promises to be easiest to use is one which we can host within the university, and which you’d be able to access online – much like with Moodle. This version will be the focus of my investigations and is currently on a test server. Please request access information from me if you wish to explore it.
