Last summer our Placements Manager, Louise Oliver, cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.
On Thursday 1 March the faculty office organised a cake sale to support her fundraising. As you may be aware this was also the first day of snow!
In spite of our misgivings about the amount of cake we had with seemingly no one around to buy it, we managed to sell most of it and raised a massive sum of £275, which will bring Louise’s fundraising total for Alzheimer’s Research to over £1500.
We wanted to thank everyone who made the effort to come and buy cake on an extremely cold and snowy day and also give a big thanks to everyone who baked.
Our next cake sale in aid of Bath Mind takes place on the 21 March at 10am in Wessex House 3.50A. Please join us, we are hoping for sun this time!
