Are you someone who wants to be an ally to the trans and gender nonconforming communities but aren’t sure how or where to start? Is there a person in your life who identifies as trans or gender non-conforming? Do you know your coworkers or peers engage in transphobic behavior but you don’t know what to do about it?
Come along an find out how you can be an ally, and help make a difference. We are excited to be partnering with InterEngineering to host this workshop.
There will be a talk on what it’s like to be trans at work and how we can be good allies, followed by a Q&A session, then a little mixer with tea and coffee.
This event is open to all University staff and Postgraduate students – we would love to see you there.
