On Saturday 10 March, Sophie and Caroline were pleasantly surprised to see so many of you turn up to our first ever Kaleidoscope Bristol meet up! First we headed to Smoke and Mirrors, a bustling little magic bar on Denmark Street. It was great to see such a diverse spread of people from the University across many different departments, orientations and age ranges.
After being wowed by some table magic and singing along to some Elton John by a live pianist, we headed to the Queenshilling to meet Bristol University LGBT+ Staff Group. Basu Chakrabarty, one of their committee members welcomed us into the Bristol Uni booth (complete with free ‘champagne’)
Safe to say that much fun and dancing ensued, and we are looking forward to connecting with the Bristol Group again in the future.
