We are really pleased to say we have two new committee members join us this summer, a Gender Identities Representative and a Staff Events Manager. Please read below for a little introduction to each new member and their role.
Gender Identities Representative
Our new Gender Identities Representative is Jimmy Brightwell, you can read his biography on our Committee page.
Jimmy has previously volunteered supporting LGBT+ youth, which will be a great asset in supporting and signposting for our Trans and Non binary community. Jimmy will be helping out with our Stonewall Workplace Equality Index submission and policy development in conjunction with ED&I and HR departments.
Staff Events Manager
Our new Staff Events Manager is Alison Crichton and you can read her biography on our Committee page.
Alison will plan staff-only social events every term, and will also be involved with planning our first annual Pride event, and represent LGBTQ+ staff voices at the University. If you have any ideas for trips or events please do get in touch with Alison via lgbt-staff@bath.ac.uk!
