Omnibus Conversation Thursday 3rd March 1.15pm

Posted in: Conversations, Talks and Lectures, Social Events

The OMNIBUS lunchtime conversations offer an opportunity for all staff (academic and nonacademic), doctoral and post doctoral students, and other interested parties to share what they are working on.

The next meeting is on 3rd March 2016, 1:15-2:05 (room to be announced). We usually begin the meetings by going round with each person saying a few words by way of introduction to themselves and what they are working on. For instance, Paul Shepherd (Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering), members of The Public Engagement Unit, Marie Huxtable, (University of Cumbria), and doctoral and postdoctoral students have been invited to the conversation to share what they are doing in contributing to the BRLSI Researchers project. http://www.brlsiyouthgallery.org/brlsi-researchers/

At this meeting Jack Whitehead, a life-time member of OMNIBUS who is coordinating the OMNIBUS contribution to the University’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations (from October 2016), will draw attention to the creation of living-posters for the celebrations. For illustrative examples of living-posters see:
