Omnibear popped along to see the new 2018 team in action for the inaugural match of the Bath League de Petanque last Tuesday evening (8th May). It was a fun affair, with the anticipated salami and cheese nibbles and runny Brie, and the Ricard flowing like water. There was a good turnout, and Omniboules won their first match, but lost the second after a long wait in an increasingly chilly wind. Omnibus wishes them all the best for the first league game on Tuesday 15th May in Queen Square, Bath.
