ChallengeCPD - frameworks

People at our Advisory Group meeting mentioned a couple of frameworks which look useful.

The Four Stages of Competence

  • Unconscious incompetence
  • Conscious incompetence
  • Conscious competence
  • Unconscious competence

This comes back to the need for training to surface skills and knowledge that participants already have.

The other framework was Millers Pyramid.

I particularly liked this version because it includes the recognition of a need which underpins further progression.
