Moodle
A question you may have is, why is there a QR code on my print out from Moodle?
The answer is that the e-learning Team have developed an enhancement for Moodle which will automatically include the QR code for the page that has been printed from Moodle. This means that you can simply scan the QR code and then link directly to this page. This will save you significant amounts of time and minimise the chances of human error.
An example of use might be that you have been set an online quiz in Moodle. You might print out the question to start working through the questions, make annotations and identifying the answers. Then you would like to access Moodle to complete the quiz. So instead of accessing this on your computer, why not complete this using the web browser on your mobile phone. Simply scan the QR code, open the page and complete the questions.
Alternatively, if your Department uses Moodle to support student placements and they provide information on placements as a searchable database. Then you could access the appropriate database, click on the rss button, and print the page. Then scan the qr code into your phone and copy and paste the rss address into the rss reader on your phone. Once subscribed then you will be automatically updated when a new placement is added.
