Change of access to temporary car parking next to 10 West

The new 10 West project is on track for completion in April next year, providing a purpose built facility for the Department of Psychology and the Institute for Policy Research.

The phase of finishing works will involve the reinstatement of car parking spaces in front of the building and making the final service connections.

To enable this, access to the temporary car parking spaces next to the site will change from the start of 2016.

The new access route will be via the south side of the campus and regular users of these temporary parking facilities should consider planning their journey to use the Norwood Avenue entrance if at all possible.

Access to the West car park itself will not be affected.

The lacrosse pitch will be moved slightly to the west of the current location and the fence extended on the east side. Work will start to construct the temporary access road to the west of 1S and 2S following the Lacrosse Club's last game of the year on 9 December is what in already proving to be a very successful season.

The work to complete the new access route will require the temporary car park to be closed from the end of the working day on Friday 18 December untilĀ  4 January.

More parking spaces in the West car park will be made available as 10 West progresses. The University apologises for any inconvenience caused.
