The next phase of Bath Quays Waterside flood mitigation works are due to commence this month, and we have received an update from the construction firm:
In January a compound will be established within the Riverside Coach Park and the contractor will start on highway and utility works in Ambury, Corn Street and Green Park Road. Following this works to the north river bank and Green Park will commence in the Spring followed by south river bank and flood defence boundary works.
Avon Street carpark and Riverside coach park will remain in operation throughout the works. A change in operation of the Riverside coach park from the current long term facility to short term (drop-off/pick-up only) will also take effect in January with long term coach parking being relocated to sites in and around the city including the First Bus Weston Island depot.
