All UK rail travel by University staff for business purposes should be booked using the the Go2Book system from our University travel provider, Clarity. You can find more details on how to use the system here.
To encourage use of this system, travellers can now claim a free hot drink when they travel on a high-speed GWR trip. Details on how to claim this offer will pop-up when you book your ticket. The University is aiming for all UK rail travel for staff to be booked through Go2Book going forward so we can take advantage of more offers like these.
Once you have booked your ticket through Go2Book, there are a number of ways of collecting your tickets to make it more convenient for you. You can:
- print in the Library
- collect from Fast Ticket machine at any station
- print your own ticket (instructions shown at bottom of Go2Book login screen)
- receive via post (this service will be phased out shortly)
Don't forget to book early to get the cheapest Advance tickets, or if off-peak travel is feasible for one leg of your journey, buy 2 singles or a split-single if they are available.
