Closure of rear entrance to the Medical Centre 28 Nov- 2 Dec

The rear external entrance to the Medical Centre, indicated in the below picture, will be closed this week (Mon 28 Nov to Fri 02 Dec).

This is to facilitate important works to link the Medical Centre to the campus data network system.

Pedestrian access will still be possible from the North Road for the duration of the works.

Parade and Underdeck closure, 20-21 August

📥  Road closures

On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August a mast is being removed from the roof of Norwood House. The open area at the East end of the parade will be closed off, and access to the SU will be via 1E or Chancellors' Building. The covered walkway outside 4E/6E/8E will still be accessible, providing a throughway from the bus stop to the West end of campus.

UPDATE: Underdeck closure July - Sept 2016

Owing to some urgent remedial building works to be undertaken above the eastbound carriageway of the Underdeck near Norwood House, a section of road will be closed

These works are starting immediately, and will take around 2 months. A diversion route will be sign posted.

UPDATE 4 August 2016: The Eastbound carriageway will be completely closed from Thursday 4th August 2016. These works have been extended to a large section of the Eastbound carriageway of the underdeck and will be in place for some weeks. Please see below road closure plan from the Department of Estates. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
