One of the resource that I used was Xerte Successful Reflective Writing<\/a>.<\/p>\n My first piece of university coursework was a reflective essay. As a girl who loves to write in her diary, I was familiar with reflection, but writing a reflective essay for an academic setting was a different challenge. This resource was a game-changer. It\u2019s structured into short modules that provide clear, easily applicable guidance on how to structure your reflective writing. One of its best bits is the \u2018Notes and Tips\u2019 section which has short summaries and key takeaways from the course.<\/p>\n I achieved a first on my reflective essay, and, for me, this resource was exactly what I needed to improve my writing. Many online tips that I found were for personal reflective writing, but this course focused on academic reflective writing which was exactly what I needed.<\/p>\n Another resource that I\u2019ve accessed is Essential Essay Writing<\/a>.<\/p>\n When it comes to essay writing, I often spend lots of time brainstorming ideas and scouring academic journals that, when I write, I end up rambling instead of crafting a piece of academic writing. The resource helped me streamline my thoughts and present my ideas effectively.
