This  role will be part of a new team responsible for the University\u2019s HPC  service, which supports the University\u2019s varied research portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>The University has recently been awarded funding to refresh its HPC  infrastructure. This will be an exciting opportunity to be involved with  the introduction of the University\u2019s next generation HPC service. The  post-holder will assist with the integration of the new cluster and  tailoring the delivery of the service for an active and growing  community of HPC users.<\/p>\n<p>Your goals will be to provide pro-active technical support, knowledge  transfer and to assist users with exploiting the resources to ensure  effective use of the HPC service by academics and students, as well  administering the cluster and maintaining system documentation.<\/p>\n<p>The post-holder will have a good experience of system administration,  scripting and working with HPC schedulers; experience with parallel  programming will be an advantage. You will be able to apply in-depth  technical expertise to resolve complex problems, generate innovative  ideas and will help to enrich the user experience and to enhance the  delivery of the HPC service.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for you to work at a  leading University.
