Last year, as part of Athena Swan Anniversary stories<\/em> series, we have talked about a growing number of women in professoriate<\/a> and raised the profile of various routes to professorial roles. For this year's International Women's Day (IWD) feature, ED&I team and Researcher Development Manager Amy Birch teamed up to look into highlighting our talented women in Early Career Researchers (ECRs) community. Various research areas, backgrounds, experiences and aspirations are featured in the artwork celebrating women ECRs at Bath<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"International Women\u2019s Day is always an opportunity to celebrate women\u2019s achievement\", says Amy. She adds: \"This year, the theme, Choose to Challenge, is a call to action for us all to challenge our own biases or assumptions. This project<\/a>, celebrating early career researchers and academics at Bath, challenges our preconceptions of what an \u2018expert\u2019 or \u2018<\/span><\/span>boffin<\/span><\/span>\u2019 looks like, and celebrates what can be achieved at any stage in your career when you have confidence in who you are and what you do.
