Does anyone remember the start of the home computer market in the 1980's?
\nIt's been announced this week that the ZX Spectrum is going to make a comeback!<\/p>\n

Although it will not work the same way as the old computer, this version will act more like a games console. This version will be called the Sinclair Spectrum Vega, and should be available from April.<\/p>\n

It will take advantage of advances in technology to achieve big cost savings by replacing most of the electronics in the earlier computer products. Instead the Vega uses a low cost micro-controller and a clever piece of software that combine to enable the Vega to run all of the games, 14,000 or more of them, which were developed during the years when some 5 million of the original Sinclair Spectrum were being sold.<\/p>\n

It looks to be a great take on an old product. In addition to this, it will be made in Nottinghamshire by SMS Electronics.<\/p>\n
