{"id":422,"date":"2016-06-16T08:36:28","date_gmt":"2016-06-16T08:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/av\/?p=422"},"modified":"2016-06-16T08:36:28","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T08:36:28","slug":"summer-upgrades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/av\/2016\/06\/16\/summer-upgrades\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer Upgrades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This summer, we are rebuilding many of the teaching spaces.<\/p>\n<p>Full rebuilds (Furniture, Decoration, Equipment):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1E<\/li>\n<li>2E (but not 3.1)<\/li>\n<li>3WN<\/li>\n<li>4E (not 3.38)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Equipment refresh &amp; Decoration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5W<\/li>\n<li>Council Chamber<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Equipment Refresh<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4W<\/li>\n<li>6W<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1E3.6, 4E2.56 and 4E3.5 will become twin projector rooms - so you can show 2 sources side-by-side.<\/p>\n<p>3WN2.1 will be fitted with camera tracking (similar to University Hall).<\/p>\n<p>These rooms are being upgraded to the latest AV Specification. They are also being fully rewired to give the latest standard of cabling.<\/p>\n<p>From the start of the new academic year, all of these rooms will be equipped with a full set of digital interfaces, so any form of laptop can be plugged in.<\/p>\n<p>The rooms will have a full lecture capture interface, so that anything the students see on the projection screens or displays will be captured.<\/p>\n<p>An addition to that, the rooms are also getting Apple and Miracast display sharing devices - so you will be able to present from a tablet or latest model laptop wirelessly.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact us if you would like to know any more details.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This summer, we are rebuilding many of the teaching spaces.
