{"id":4,"date":"2026-04-24T11:43:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T10:43:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/bath-p-ace\/?page_id=4"},"modified":"2026-04-28T09:24:35","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T08:24:35","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/bath-p-ace\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The Bath Policing Academic Centre of Excellence (Bath P-ACE) is part of a network of centres working to improve connections between academic researchers and policing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The network is co-funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) for 3 years from October 2025 to September 2028. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Our aim is to develop creative, evidence-based approaches to address key challenges in policing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As part of our work, we make rapid response funding available to support the translation of University of Bath research into operational tools and training, and to build understanding and networks between academia and policing.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside this, we will run a call for research projects co-designed with policing colleagues, with further details to follow during 2026\/27.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">Interested in finding out more about Bath P\u2011ACE or working with us?
