{"id":347,"date":"2022-11-11T12:45:24","date_gmt":"2022-11-11T12:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/be-well\/?p=347"},"modified":"2023-07-01T13:27:11","modified_gmt":"2023-07-01T12:27:11","slug":"be-well-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/be-well\/2022\/11\/11\/be-well-app\/","title":{"rendered":"Be Well App"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wellbeing ambassador, Rosie, explains how the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bath.ac.uk\/campaigns\/be-well-app\/\">Be Well app<\/a> works and her favourite features to use as a student<\/p>\n<p>I thought this would be a great opportunity to share some information about the recently launched Be Well app and how you can use it as part of your everyday routine.<\/p>\n<p><u>What is the Be Well App?<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Be Well app is a free, well-being resource which provides ongoing support all day, every day<\/li>\n<li>It was created for University of Bath students to help manage their wellbeing in simple and practical steps<\/li>\n<li>The app lets you explore a whole range of resources like blogs, podcasts, mindfulness exercises and other support tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>What do I like about it?<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Be Well app is the first well-being app I\u2019ve used which has an AI feature, Charley, that you can chat with. Charley helps you to set achievable daily habits and evening routines in an interactive text discussion. What is great about this collaborative chat is that you can tailor habits to you.\u00a0 That means you can focus your discussions on areas specific to you and things you\u2019re struggling with.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-348\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/be-well\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/144\/2022\/11\/Be-Well-App-1-300x207.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/be-well\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/144\/2022\/11\/Be-Well-App-1-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/be-well\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/144\/2022\/11\/Be-Well-App-1-311x215.jpg 311w, https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/be-well\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/144\/2022\/11\/Be-Well-App-1.jpg 702w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One aspect of the app I really love is the journaling feature. As students, our lives can feel so busy and chaotic that sometimes it feels like we don\u2019t have time to stop and take a break.
