IWD is for celebrating the achievements of women and\/or calling for gender parity.\u201d <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.internationalwomensday.com\/Theme\">www.internationalwomensday.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>During the week of March 4<sup>th<\/sup>, the Careers Service are holding a number of employer-led events as part of its \u2018Celebrate Diversity, Challenge Discrimination\u2019 themed activities to mark International Women\u2019s Day (March 8<sup>th<\/sup>). #BalanceforBetter<\/p>\n<p>Gender-balance is a key concern for many graduate recruiters and employers so we have invited a few in to explain the ways in which they address this in their workplaces.<\/p>\n<p>Employer sessions available:<\/p>\n<p>Monday 4 March \u2013 1.15-2.05pm \u2013 PwC \u2018Creating Gender Equality in the Workplace\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday 5 March \u2013 1.15-2.05pm \u2013 Colas Rail \u2018Challenging gender stereotypes in Rail\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Thursday 7 March \u2013 1.15-2.05pm \u2013 CIL Management Consultants \u2018Women in Consulting\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Friday 8 March \u2013 1.15-2.05pm \u2013 BearingPoint \u2018Women in Management Consulting\u2019<\/p>\n<p>And a very exciting panel event on Thursday evening:<\/p>\n<p>Panel Event \u2018Women in Tech\u2019 Thursday 7 March 6.15-8.00pm featuring guests from Nvidia, JP Morgan and Thales.<\/p>\n<p>Events are open to <strong>ALL<\/strong> \u2013 please just visit MyFuture to book your place.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBalance is not a women's issue, it's a business issue.
