For each situation, several actions are listed that could be taken in response to it.\u00a0Respondents are required to make judgements about the effectiveness of the actions provided. SJTs\u00a0have become increasingly popular as tools for recruitment because they can assess skills not\u00a0assessed by other measures, such as problem-solving and decision-making.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"irc_mi\" src=\"http:\/\/d2ed9jytfu8qln.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/sjts-300x238.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"252\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>You will usually be asked to take an SJT as part of the application process or in some cases during an assessment centre. Although there is no time 'limit' as such, test creators\u00a0will have guidelines for the typical length of time people take to complete their test; however if you take longer than that it doesn't matter.\u00a0A growing number of SJTs are now bespoke to the recruiting organisation, or to a specific role.
