In External Affairs, there's always something new on the horizon - another meeting, event, partnership or project. It's easy to move straight on to what's next without stopping to reflect.<\/p>\n
That's why it was such a lovely moment for our team to receive a University of Bath Staff Recognition Award this week for our work in supporting the university's research.<\/p>\n
As a small team, we work to build and strengthen the University's relationships at local, regional and national level. A big part of that is helping connect our world-leading research with the people, organisations and communities who can benefit from it. This year especially, as part of our 60th anniversary year, that has looked like regular high-profile Adelard events<\/a>, targeted research showcases, and regular engagement with politicians and policy makers.<\/p>\n This award is a reminder of what can be achieved when we work together, not just as a team but with our colleagues across the universtiy and with our external partners. We're grateful to all those who we work with every day, and proud to play our part in helping University of Bath research have an impact beyond campus.<\/p>\n We'll soon be back to the next project (watch out for our rescheduled Adelard sustainability event in October, our annual rugby hospitality event, and the political party conference season!), but for now, we're taking a moment to celebrate a great team achievement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" In External Affairs, there's always something new on the horizon - another meeting, event, partnership or project.
