{"id":1178,"date":"2023-10-03T14:48:07","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T13:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/clt\/?p=1178"},"modified":"2023-10-11T10:59:34","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T09:59:34","slug":"assessment-and-feedback-activities-with-feedbackfruits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/clt\/2023\/10\/03\/assessment-and-feedback-activities-with-feedbackfruits\/","title":{"rendered":"Assessment and Feedback Activities with FeedbackFruits"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>FeedbackFruits Pilot<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/feedbackfruits.com\/tool-overview\">FeedbackFruits<\/a> is a platform that provides a range of different types of assessment and feedback activities, integrated into Moodle<\/p>\n<p>We started a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/clt\/2023\/02\/23\/learning-technology-pilot-feedback-fruits-digital-assessment-and-feedback-tools\/\">pilot of FeedbackFruits in Semester 2 of academic year 2022\/3<\/a> and although the feedback was positive, there wasn\u2019t sufficient feedback to enable us to fully evaluate the effectiveness of the tool. We have therefore extended the pilot, which will last until the summer of 2024, and hope to engage with more staff willing to try it out.<\/p>\n<p>The functionality that we feel is particularly of interest is the ability to build in feedback activities to common student submission activities.\u00a0 Students can receive feedback via rubrics, scale rating or via comments alone.\u00a0 Students can comment on their feedback, or rate it, providing valuable data to help teachers understand where misapprehensions are occurring.\u00a0 \u00a0Additionally, it is also possible to build in reflective activities, so that students are directed to think about and process their feedback before moving on.<\/p>\n<h2>Attend an introductory workshop<\/h2>\n<p>If you\u2019re interested to know more about <strong>Peer Review<\/strong> (students assessing each other's work) and <strong>Group Member Evaluation<\/strong> (students assessing each other's performance in a task), please join us for an
