{"id":694,"date":"2020-01-29T15:32:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-29T15:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/clt\/?p=694"},"modified":"2020-01-29T15:32:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-29T15:32:00","slug":"update-on-turningpoint-desktop-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/clt\/2020\/01\/29\/update-on-turningpoint-desktop-application\/","title":{"rendered":"Update on TurningPoint Desktop application"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An update has been released by the TEL and AV teams to those users who export results in the <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/turningpoint-guidance\/#TurningPoint_desktop\">TurningPoint Desktop application and\/or PowerPoint plugin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We have been made aware that, due to a recent software license change with a third-party software, that it is not currently possible to export user results in TurningPoint Desktop application and PowerPoint plugin on campus managed PCs as a CSV or PDF file (exporting as a HTML file is still possible). All other features of the TurningPoint Desktop and PowerPoint plugin are working as normal.<\/p>\n<p>This issue only affects those users who wish to export user results; results can still be viewed in the TurningPoint Desktop application and PowerPoint plugin, and session data can still be saved.<\/p>\n<p>Workarounds are possible, and in the first instance staff who wish to export their results are advised to e-mail the Technology Enhanced Learning team for support: <a href=\"mailto:tel@bath.ac.uk?subject=Turningpoint%20Exportings%20Results%20Assistance%20Required\">tel@bath.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This issue does not affect users who use the <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/turningpoint-guidance\/#turning_point_web\">Turningpoint web polling software<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The TEL and AV teams<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An update has been released by the TEL and AV teams to those users who export results in the TurningPoint Desktop application and\/or PowerPoint plugin.
