This was also followed with a <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/events-and-workshops\/tel-virtual-dropin\/\">TEL Q&amp;A drop-in<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Listed below were five most popular Moodle topics and resources, following input from colleagues across the University and from the Q&amp;A session:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-essential-unit-information-area\/\">Moodle Essential Unit Area<\/a> will begin to appear on all Moodle units to help students consistently find key unit information. Please read the <a href=\"https:\/\/xerte.bath.ac.uk\/play.php?template_id=1095\">guidance on setting this up<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#essential_unit_info_block_setup\">see our FAQs<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#structuring_courses\">Structuring Moodle Courses<\/a>: this screencast models how to start adapting an existing course to be consistent and well scaffolded (key elements of the <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/the-bath-blend\/bath-blend-baseline\/\">Bath Blend<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#managing_groups\">Group management<\/a> included <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#allocate_students_to_groups\">setting up groups in Moodle<\/a> and also ideas for <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/the-bath-blend\/essentials\/tools-to-support-online-group-work\/\">other tools for group work online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/blackboard-ally\/\">Blackboard Ally<\/a> to help support staff see what content is accessible and how to improve it, while at the same time allowing students to download alternative formats.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#managing_resources_questions\">General course management<\/a> such as <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#moving_activities\">moving activities between courses<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#course_management\">housekeeping to prepare existing courses for next year<\/a> and even how to <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinghub.bath.ac.uk\/moodle-faqs\/#recycle_bin\">recover accidentally deleted activities<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, TEL relaunched the Moodle Guides support page, making relevant content easier to find, building on our Moodle FAQs and creating new \u201chow-to\u201d screencasts.
