The Centre for Learning\u00a0&\u00a0Teaching\u00a0is\u00a0launching\u202fa\u00a0<\/span>range of staff development opportunities<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to help\u00a0you\u00a0prepare for the new academic year.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Activities and resources on offer are\u00a0part of the Academic Professional Development for all Staff (<\/span>APDaS<\/span><\/a>) curriculum.\u00a0 The\u202f<\/span>Option sessions<\/span><\/a>\u202fare<\/span>\u202fopen to all staff who teach or who support learning and teaching and assessment, including professional services staff<\/span><\/b>. For staff following\u202f<\/span>pathways to HEA fellowship<\/span><\/a>\u202f(for\u00a0probationers or experienced staff members), the Option sessions supplement the core curriculum with in-depth pedagogic and technical knowledge on key topics.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u202f<\/span>In September,\u00a0we\u00a0are offering\u00a0a\u202f<\/span>series of events<\/span><\/a>\u202fwhich will help you get ready for the start of Semester One. This includes sessions providing practical tips and updates on core learning technologies such as Moodle VLE and Re:View (Panopto) lecture capture, as well as in person learning in teaching spaces and digital accessibility in Moodle.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u202f<\/span>The TEL team are\u00a0also\u00a0offering\u202f<\/span>bookable one-to-one support<\/span><\/a>\u00a0immediately before the start of semester\u00a0to help answer your technology enhanced learning queries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u202f<\/span>If you\u00a0are not able to\u00a0attend a scheduled event\u00a0you\u00a0will soon be able to\u00a0access a range of\u202f<\/span>self-paced online resources<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in your own time. We will be\u00a0gradually rolling\u00a0out\u00a0these\u00a0new resources\u00a0from early September.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, you may wish to arrange a\u00a0tailored\u202f<\/span>on-request workshop<\/span><\/a>\u202ffor your department or team. Most workshops can be delivered at three-weeks' notice.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
