rally.<\/p>\n<h2>Quality and regulation<\/h2>\n<p>OfS has published a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.officeforstudents.org.uk\/publications\/provider-typologies-2022\/?utm_source=OfS+alerts&amp;utm_campaign=d1c0bed206-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2022_11_29_11_20&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_term=0_-d1c0bed206-%5BLIST_EMAIL_ID%5D\">report<\/a> which describes their new approach to grouping higher education providers in the data and analysis they present and reflects the diversity of the providers they regulate.<\/p>\n<p>Almost two-thirds of English universities could potentially face sanctions for failing to meet new OfS quality thresholds that were introduced last month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeshighereducation.com\/news\/many-universities-could-face-sanctions-missing-ofs-thresholds?utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=editorial-daily&amp;spMailingID=22975361&amp;spUserID=MTAzMDM1OTQ2MjMyMAS2&amp;spJobID=2116188711&amp;spReportId=MjExNjE4ODcxMQS2\">analysis suggests<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The quality of apprenticeships in England has come under criticism in a report from think tank EDSK. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edsk.org\/publications\/no-train-no-gain\/\"><em>No Train, No Gain<\/em><\/a> discusses a lack of meaningful training and high dropout rates.<\/p>\n<p>OfS has published a <a looking at student co-creation as part of their Mental Health Funding Competition: using innovation and intersectional approaches to target mental health support for students.<\/p>\n<h2>Fees and funding<\/h2>\n<p>Government action including more hardship funding, bigger maintenance loans and restored grants would all complement universities\u2019 efforts to help students cope with the cost-of-living crisis, <a
