It has been a busy few weeks for the Digital team and other colleagues from across the University. This quarter we shipped the following:
We have built on the existing Award Ceremonies section, providing information for students, parents, graduates and members of the public.
Visitors can find out about the day, celebrate success and learn about the achievements of our honorary graduates.
We have also created a single destination for information about how to graduate, selecting the right academic dress and how to book tickets for guests.
We have launched a new ‘About’ section providing information about the University.
Visitors will be able to find all the information they need about the University including; our mission and vision, how to get here, facts and figures, our partnerships and collaborations and our strategies and ethics.
We have implemented a new blog theme for University of Bath blogs.
This will allow different entities within the University to have a more visible identity on the blog as well as curate important or high priority content on their landing page. IPR have acted as a trailblazer and are the first entity to transition to the new blog theme.
China and India landing pages
Visitors will be able to find all the information they need to make an informed decision about Bath, including what makes us special, what it's like to study for a degree here, how and when to apply and what life's like in the South West.
We have built and launched a landing page for prospective Chinese students, translated into Simplified Mandarin.
This means we now have a dedicated landing page that can be accessed by Chinese search engines, helping to improve our visibility in China. This is important for the University as most users in China are unable to access Google.
We have built and shipped a new Course Publisher and launched our undergraduate courses online.
We have simplified the presentation of information about courses providing an improved destination for prospective students, applicants and parents.
