We are looking for talented Content Writers to join the University of Bath’s Digital team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Digital team works on projects with other members of staff across the University including the wider marketing community.
If your application is successful, you’ll get the chance to work with a team of content designers, video producers, UX designers and developers to create user-focused experiences.
This role requires a passion for creating well-structured, easy-to-understand digital content. Ideally, you’ll have experience of writing different types of accessible and usable content - including information-led content, guides and marketing campaigns - for a range of audiences. You’ll be able to take a difficult concept and use plain English to present it clearly on a web page and answer a user need.
We require attention to detail so your grammar and spelling must be faultless. You must also be comfortable with your work being edited and be open to suggestions and improvements.
As well as writing content for the website you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in other areas of the digital content process, for example, user research, web site analytics and regular content maintenance.
You’ll also need to be comfortable working across different digital platforms and formats.
As a Content Writer, you'll be open to learning about the roles of content strategy, information architecture and user experience design and how they help organisations to design, build and publish content across different content platforms.
The Digital team works in a busy office environment, so you must be able to keep pace and focus on the task at hand.
