Could you lead the University of Oxford\u2019s mission to carry out its world class outstanding work sustainably?<\/p>\n
The University of Oxford is seeking an innovative and dedicated environmental professional with considerable experience of change management for sustainability and an excellent understanding of the sustainability challenges and opportunities facing the higher education sector. \u00a0A key position within the University\u2019s Estates team, the postholder will line manage a small team of sustainability specialists working to implement the University\u2019s environmental strategies and targets. \u00a0With work plans already in place for waste, water and carbon management, the new postholder will be expected to guide the development of a new biodiversity strategy and implementation of a certified environmental management system for the University.<\/p>\n
We are looking for a collaborative and engaging candidate with the ability to think practically as well as strategically, taking the University\u2019s wider mission into account in the setting of Oxford\u2019s environmental priorities. \u00a0The closing date for applications<\/a> is noon on 26 September 2012.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
