{"id":3003,"date":"2013-01-03T11:55:12","date_gmt":"2013-01-03T11:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/?p=3003"},"modified":"2013-01-03T11:55:12","modified_gmt":"2013-01-03T11:55:12","slug":"turnaround-leadership-for-sustainability-in-higher-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/2013\/01\/03\/turnaround-leadership-for-sustainability-in-higher-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Turnaround Leadership for Sustainability in Higher Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A summary report on the <em>Turnaround Leadership for Sustainability in Higher Education<\/em> project landed on my desktop today. \u00a0The full report is at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.olt.gov.au\">AGOTL<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As I skimmed it, I noticed two things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9 out of the 15 citations come from the work of the project leader (who's not the usual suspect in these matters). \u00a0This seems to set a new record for self-esteem<\/li>\n<li>the focus is on leadership for EfS, rather than leadership of HE institutions, <em>per se<\/em>, and thus seems to miss the point (as I noted in a previous <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/2011\/08\/11\/turning-around-leadership-for-sustainability-in-higher-education\/\">post<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two good reasons not to spend further time on it. \u00a0Back to that good book ...<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A summary report on the Turnaround Leadership for Sustainability in Higher Education project landed on my desktop today. \u00a0The full report is at the\u00a0AGOTL.
