The clue is in the name"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new campaign c\/o <em><a href=\"http:\/\/cepatoolkit.blogspot.co.uk\/2013\/09\/better-in-dark.html\">The Art of Positive Change<\/a><\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>A new social media campaign, launched as a result of the Powered by Nature Award<\/strong>s \u2013\u00a0an initiative of IUCN CEC and ALCOA \u2013 encourages people to turn off their lights and turn on their senses. \u00a0 With cheeky humour and simple graphics, the campaign \u201cBetter in the Dark\u201d invites community contributions to the question: What things are better in the dark?\u00a0Stargazing? Hide and seek? Sleeping? \u00a0 Once appliances are switched off, so the story, we can finally see the stars and connect to \u00a0nature and the people around us. \u00a0 Ultimately, this will help us to save energy and take better care of our environment. \u00a0 Mostly, \u201cBetter in the Dark\u201d is an invitation to engage playfully with sustainability and experiment: What happens when we turn the switch? \u00a0 \u00a0The accompanying <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?feature=player_embedded&amp;v=rDitBL7dqWY\">video<\/a><\/strong> provides one possible answer (skinny dipping). \u00a0For those that need more light in this situation, it continues, LED torches might be the way to go.
