{"id":6563,"date":"2016-01-20T07:52:27","date_gmt":"2016-01-20T07:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/?p=6563"},"modified":"2016-01-20T07:53:01","modified_gmt":"2016-01-20T07:53:01","slug":"the-geep-is-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/2016\/01\/20\/the-geep-is-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"The GEEP is launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote a while back about a meeting I went to about the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/2015\/10\/16\/geep-7-last-words-and-donald-trump\/\">GEEP<\/a> \u2013 pronounced <em>jeep<\/em> \u2013 the\u00a0Global Environmental Education Partnerships. \u00a0The website has now been <a href=\"http:\/\/thegeep.org\">launched<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The idea is that GEEP is a platform where people can learn more about international environmental education. \u00a0It includes an interactive <a href=\"http:\/\/thegeep.org\/where-we-work\">map<\/a> of countries with an overview of their environmental education efforts. \u00a0I wrote the section on the UK, following consultation with those who know about such things \u2013 although not everyone responded.<\/p>\n<p>This website is still in development, and GEEP\u00a0will continue to build the resources and best practice section, as well as the country profiles and featured programmes. \u00a0It will soon be\u00a0linked to NAAEE's new eePRO site \u2013 Click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naaee.org\">here<\/a>, and then\u00a0click on <strong><em>eePRO<\/em><\/strong> to get an idea of how that works. \u00a0More later, no doubt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote a while back about a meeting I went to about the GEEP \u2013 pronounced jeep \u2013 the\u00a0Global Environmental Education Partnerships. \u00a0The website has now been launched.
