{"id":6857,"date":"2017-01-05T08:09:26","date_gmt":"2017-01-05T08:09:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/?p=6857"},"modified":"2017-01-05T08:09:26","modified_gmt":"2017-01-05T08:09:26","slug":"whats-the-collective-noun-for-unesco-chairs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/2017\/01\/05\/whats-the-collective-noun-for-unesco-chairs\/","title":{"rendered":"What's the collective noun for UNESCO Chairs?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alas, this is one of the many unknowns about UNESCO \u2013 but at least it's a known unknown. \u00a0Perhaps it's a <em>Stack.<\/em> \u00a0One known known about it all is that those who don't know are precisely matched by those who don't care all that much.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the UK Chairs and UNTWIN co-ordinators all met <em>in colloquium<\/em>\u00a0late last year to chew the fat. \u00a0Here's what UNESCO UK had to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unesco.org.uk\/news\/unesco-university-network-comes-together-at-coventry-university\/\">say<\/a> about it all. \u00a0Reflecting on the meeting, UKNC Chair Dr Beth Taylor said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI am hugely impressed by the range and quality of expertise embodied in the UK\u2019s UNESCO Chairs and UNITWIN Networks \u2013 an impression that was reinforced by our discussions at the Colloquium.
