{"id":7058,"date":"2017-09-21T06:57:23","date_gmt":"2017-09-21T06:57:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/?p=7058"},"modified":"2017-09-21T06:58:09","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T06:58:09","slug":"a-farewell-to-the-ensi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/2017\/09\/21\/a-farewell-to-the-ensi\/","title":{"rendered":"A farewell to the ENSI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After \"more than thirty years of successful collaboration with\u00a0various partners from all over\", the ENSI network is closing down. \u00a0The ENSI Board said that owing to the decreasing number of full member countries and the consequent lack of resources it is no longer feasible to carry on. The board decided at its AGM in Vienna to close down its secretariat by the end of June, 2018. \u00a0All formal\u00a0memberships of ENSI end also by this date. \u00a0ENSI\u2019s homepage and the access to all documents is ensured after the closure of the\u00a0secretariat. \u00a0The Board said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We would like to thank you for all your long-time commitment and very valuable\u00a0contributions to ENSI\u2019s achievements. We, the ENSI board and the ENSI community,\u00a0look back on successful ENSI life of 30 years.
