{"id":7328,"date":"2018-10-22T06:32:21","date_gmt":"2018-10-22T06:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/?p=7328"},"modified":"2018-10-22T06:32:34","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T06:32:34","slug":"genie-and-the-bottle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/edswahs\/2018\/10\/22\/genie-and-the-bottle\/","title":{"rendered":"GENIE and Lady Caroline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Into my unsuspecting mailbox the other day popped the following:<\/p>\n<p><em><span class=\"\">I\u2019m emailing on behalf of my co-chairs about the newly formed Global Ecocentric Network for Implementing Ecodemocracy (<a href=\"https:\/\/ecodemocracy.net\">GENIE<\/a>). \u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">In brief, we are seeking to implement representation for non-human nature in various political and administrative processes (principally, via the appointment of human proxies), in order to promote ecojustice \u2013\u00a0that is, justice for non-human nature, concurrent with social justice for humans \u2013 and to halt ecocide. \u00a0<\/span>If this is something you\u2019d like to get involved in, or if you have any questions, please let me know.
