I went to my first meeting of LEEF last week. \u00a0If I lived in London I\u2019d be there all the time. \u00a0The meeting was to launch the King\u2019s College research reports and I\u2019d been invited to say a few words. \u00a0I tried to set the report in a longer-term context.<\/p>\n
I was impressed by the turn out, the mix of people there (backgrounds and experience), the atmosphere, and by the questions. \u00a0There were not too many of these but they were good ones \u2013 and were, rather like the report itself, an aid to thinking. \u00a0There was much networking going on and some simple but tasty canap\u00e9s helped as they always do.<\/p>\n
It is particularly good to see the King\u2019s EE research group up and running with its MA programme and PhD students. \u00a0I wish it (and LEEF) well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
