Although we never quite reached the dizzy heights of Aberwystykh's 20 on Monday, or Kew's 21.2 yesterday, it was warm enough and enjoyable. \u00a0The garden has never been so tidied-up seven weeks into the new year. \u00a0My compost heaps are groaning and the green bin can't cope with the heavy stuff.<\/p>\n<p>I have not been enjoying the idea of the weather though; the idea that something has gone badly wrong somewhere if a plume of warm air is stretching from below the Azores to near the pole.
