As you'll be aware, the UN left Greta Thunberg stranded in Los Angeles and in a bit of a pickle as she noted in a recent tweet:<\/p>\n

\"As #<\/span>COP25<\/span><\/a> has officially been moved from Santiago to Madrid I\u2019ll need some help. \u00a0It turns out I\u2019ve traveled half around the world, the wrong way. \u00a0Now I need to find a way to cross the Atlantic in November... \u00a0If anyone could help me find transport I would be so grateful.\"<\/p>\n

Happily, however, she has hitched a ride on a passing yacht (well, it was passing the east coast) and so she'll get to COP25 in Madrid in time to be a further inspiration, sped along by all those Atlantic low pressure systems that are causing people such misery in the UK at present. \u00a0The kindness of strangers, thank goodness, seems inexhaustible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

So here's a song c\/o John Denver (and Peter, Paul & Mary<\/a>) that she might well be humming to herself as she prepares to set out and leave all the friends she has made:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
