A while back, I suggested that it might be easier to green<\/em> the Beatitudes rather than the 10 Commandments<\/a>, so here goes. \u00a0NB, changes are in bold:<\/span><\/p>\n

\"And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. \u00a0<\/span>Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:<\/span><\/p>\n

Blessed<\/span> are<\/i> those<\/strong> who\u00a0enhance biodiversity<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For theirs is heaven<\/strong>\u00a0on Earth<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\nBlessed are<\/i> those who walk<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For they shall be with God<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>
\nBlessed are<\/i> the organic farmers<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For<\/span> they shall replenish<\/strong> the<\/span>\u00a0Earth.<\/span><\/span>
\nBlessed are<\/i> those who<\/span> hunger and thirst after\u00a0vegan food<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For they shall have a low carbon footprint<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>
\nBlessed are<\/i> those who<\/strong> use green energy<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For they shall obtain carbon credit<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>
\nBlessed are<\/i> the pure in harmony<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For<\/span> they shall be<\/strong> God.<\/span><\/span>
\nBlessed are<\/i> the cheesemakers<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For they shall be using up all that surplus milk<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>
\nBlessed are<\/i> those who are persecuted\u00a0on Twitter for being green<\/strong>, \u00a0\/ \u00a0<\/span><\/span>For they shall save the Earth<\/strong>.\"<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
