The Government aims to install 600,000 heat pumps a year from 2028 as gas heating is phased out. \u00a0That is, it plans that the public will pay for and install these in their homes. \u00a0This is not going well despite a recent increase in grants being offered. \u00a0This could be because of continuing public scepticism about the efficacy of heat pumps and, of course, their cost.<\/p>\n
