They are designed to help you with the layout and functionality of your content. <strong>Expand<\/strong> is a very basic macro with one specific use. You may rarely use it but has the capacity to make a page more more user friendly.<\/p>\n<h3>Application(s)<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Expand<\/strong> has one function:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hide items until the user clicks on the link to reveal them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to add Expand<\/h3>\n<p>Simply...<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place the cursor where you want the <strong>Expand<\/strong> macro to appear<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Insert<\/strong> (in the tool bar above) then <strong>Other Macros<\/strong> from the drop-down menu<\/li>\n<li>In the pop-up window, type <strong>Expand<\/strong> into the search box<\/li>\n<li>Set the variables up as you wish (see below for examples)<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How to use Expand<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Look at any part of a page that might useful be hidden until the reader specifically indicates that they want to see it.
