{"id":102,"date":"2010-05-20T15:06:36","date_gmt":"2010-05-20T14:06:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/healthresearch\/?p=102"},"modified":"2010-05-20T15:06:36","modified_gmt":"2010-05-20T14:06:36","slug":"new-nihr-invention-for-innovation-funding-stream-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/healthresearch\/2010\/05\/20\/new-nihr-invention-for-innovation-funding-stream-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"New NIHR Invention for Innovation funding stream now open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a title=\"NIHR\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nihr.ac.uk\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)<\/a> <a title=\"NIHR CCF\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nihr-ccf.org.uk\/site\/default.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">Central Commissioning Facility (CCF)<\/a> announced the opening of the 6th call for the <a title=\"NIHR CCF i4i\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nihr-ccf.org.uk\/site\/programmes\/i4i\/default.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">Invention for Innovation (i4i)<\/a> funding stream on Wednesday 19 May.<\/p>\n<p>The i4i programme provides investement in, and improved identification of, promising healthcare technologies in order to accelerate the development of new healthcare products for the 21st century. i4i funds translational research, extending between basic research and pre-clinical trials or health technology assessments.
